  1. I am level 60 for prayer on one of my rather new accounts. I would love to have a prayer cape on it. Reply if you can help! I just need to get to 99 from level 60.
  2. Prayer is undeniably one of the most critical skills in pking within Old School, profoundly influencing the outcomes of battles and the strategies employed by skilled players. One of the primary reasons prayer is so vital is its ability to provide significant combat bonuses and protection through various prayers and prayer combinations, effectively enhancing offensive and defensive capabilities in ways that can decisively turn the tide of a fight. For instance, prayers like "Protect from Melee," "Protect from Missiles," and "Protect from Magic" can reduce incoming damage from specific attack styles by 40%, which can be a game-changer when facing opponents who switch between different combat styles to exploit weaknesses. Additionally, prayers like "Smite" can drain the opponent's prayer points when dealing damage, potentially disabling their protection prayers and leaving them vulnerable to full damage from subsequent attacks. The offensive prayers such as "Piety," "Rigour," and "Augury" boost melee, ranged, and magic accuracy and strength, respectively, providing a substantial edge in terms of damage output. Moreover, the use of prayers like "Redemption" can instantly heal a player when their hitpoints fall below 10%, giving them a last-minute lifeline in precarious situations. The strategic management of prayer points, through the use of prayer-restoring items like prayer potions and super restore potions, adds another layer of depth to PKing, as players must balance their offensive and defensive needs while ensuring they don't run out of prayer at a crucial moment. Furthermore, the rapid switching of prayers, often referred to as prayer flicking, allows advanced players to maximize the benefits of their prayers while conserving prayer points, showcasing the skill's complexity and the high level of mastery required to use it effectively in the heat of combat. Overall, prayer is integral to the art of PKing in Old School, shaping the meta and gameplay dynamics in profound ways, making it indispensable for anyone seeking to excel in the competitive and adrenaline-fueled environment of player-versus-player combat.
  3. I really am just starting to run out of ideas and I really can't think of much more to post. I will absolutely keep posting, but it is becoming a bit harder than usual. Since this forum is not active, I can't just post things by answering questions, replying to things, and all of that stuff. I will stay active on these forums forever, but it is just get harder and harder to post as much content as usual. And yes, I know I post a lot, but I will probably stop posting as much. Like instead of doing 15 posts whenever I log on, maybe just 12. I know that isn't going to make much of a difference for anybody, but it will for me. And yes, I know I really have this whole place to myself, but I still want to be helpful. Maybe, there are a few people who come on this site to find answers for questions and they just don't have an account. So yeah, I will keep posting on these forums as long as I live, but maybe just a bit less. Maybe, there will be some days where I post 30 things a day, and maybe there will be some days where I don't post at all. But yeah, thanks for reading, and as always, have an absolutely amazing rest of your day, week, and month! Stay safe out there 'Scapers!
  4. Quests are crucial to early leveling in Old School because they provide a significant boost to a player's progression by granting valuable experience points in various skills, essential items, and access to new areas and game content. Early game quests like "Waterfall Quest," "Vampire Slayer," and "Tree Gnome Village" offer large chunks of experience in combat skills without the need for prolonged grinding, allowing players to quickly increase their combat level. Other quests, such as "Cook's Assistant" and "The Restless Ghost," introduce players to fundamental aspects of the game and provide useful rewards like food and prayer experience. Furthermore, quests unlock critical content and features, such as new transportation methods, training locations, and mini-games, which are vital for efficient progression. Completing quests also helps players familiarize themselves with the game's lore and mechanics, making their journey through OSRS more engaging and rewarding. Overall, quests are indispensable for early leveling in OSRS, offering a balanced mix of experience, resources, and knowledge that sets players up for long-term success.

  6. Thank you for at least posting advertisements in the Jobs and Work topic and refraining from posting this kind of content in the OSRS topics. I at least thank you for that. I hope someday you do post some OSRS content. Welcome to the forums by the way.
  7. I know I really have this whole forum to myself, but I would really like to see this forum become more active. I honestly would love to have a small, active community here. It would be so great. If anybody here is a guest, I know it looks bad. Just me and bots posting, but give it a try. Sign up. It's free. Give it a try. Be active for a week or two and just try it. It would be great to see some new members and an active community. I don't know if Theoatrix has abandoned these forums, but they really are great and have lots of potential. So please, just give it a try. And Theoatrix, if you are reading this, please try to revive the amazing forums. Love your content! Thanks, guys! -jomo
