2010

  • The first RuneFest took place on August 28, 2010, at the Tobacco Dock in London.

2011

  • The second RuneFest was held on October 29, 2011, again at the Tobacco Dock.

2012

  • RuneFest 3 was held on November 2-3, 2012, marking the first two-day event.

2013

  • RuneFest did not occur in 2013.

2014

  • RuneFest returned on October 11, 2014, at Tobacco Dock.

2015

  • The event was held on October 3, 2015, once again at Tobacco Dock.

2016

  • RuneFest 2016 took place on September 17 at Battersea Evolution in London.

2017

  • The event was held on September 23, 2017, at the same venue, Battersea Evolution.

2018

  • RuneFest 2018 occurred on October 5-6 at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, featuring the "RuneScape Live" concert.

2019

  • RuneFest 2019 was held on October 4-5, again at Farnborough International.

2020

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, RuneFest 2020 was canceled.

2021-2022

  • RuneFest did not occur in these years, likely due to ongoing pandemic concerns and logistical challenges.

2023

  • RuneFest 2023 marked a return for the event, although details about the specific dates and activities have varied.


    RuneFest 2024 was scheduled to take place on September 7-8 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, UK, but it has faced significant challenges. The event was planned to feature a mix of game reveals, community interactions, and access to the Insomnia Gaming Festival as well. Highlights were expected to include announcements on new RuneScape developments, opportunities to test upcoming content, and interactions with developers and players.

    Now, RuneFest 2025 will be held in the same location RuneFest 2024 was supposed to be. The dates of it have just recently been released. March 1st and March 2nd. More information is to be released soon by Jagex and the RuneFest Team.
