"Heroes' Quest" Questing Guide

To complete the "Heroes' Quest" in Old School RuneScape, you need to have completed the quests "Shield of Arrav," "Lost City," "Merlin's Crystal," and "Dragon Slayer I." Additionally, you need level 25 Herblore, level 50 Mining, level 53 Fishing, and level 53 Cooking. You will also need a friend who is in the opposite gang from you in the "Shield of Arrav" quest: Black Arm Gang members will need a Phoenix Gang member and vice versa. Items required include a pickaxe, a fishing rod, fishing bait, and an unpowered orb. It is also recommended to bring combat gear, food, and teleportation runes.

Start by speaking to Achietties outside the Heroes' Guild in Taverley. She will tell you that you need to obtain three items: the Fire Feather, the Master Thieves' Armband, and the Ice Gloves.

Begin with the Fire Feather. Travel to Port Sarim and speak with Gerrant in the fishing shop to obtain some blamish snail slime. Use the snail slime with a vial of water and add a harralander to create a blamish oil potion. Use the potion on your fishing rod to create an oily fishing rod. Head to the Lava Maze in the Wilderness and use the oily fishing rod and fishing bait to catch a lava eel. Cook the lava eel on a range or fire, and then bring it to Entrana. Once on Entrana, enter the cave on the northern part of the island and defeat the fire giant to obtain the Fire Feather.

Next, work on the Master Thieves' Armband. If you are in the Black Arm Gang, you need to team up with a Phoenix Gang member. If you are in the Phoenix Gang, you need to team up with a Black Arm Gang member. Travel to Brimhaven and speak with Katrine (Black Arm Gang) or Straven (Phoenix Gang) to receive instructions. For Black Arm Gang members, you will need to help your partner obtain the Master Thieves' Armband by defeating Grip in the mansion in Brimhaven. Phoenix Gang members will need to enter the mansion, steal the keys from Grip, and pass them to their partner. Once you have the Master Thieves' Armband, proceed to the next step.

Finally, obtain the Ice Gloves. Travel to White Wolf Mountain and enter the ice cave. Navigate through the cave and defeat the Ice Queen to obtain the Ice Gloves. These gloves are essential for handling the Fire Feather you obtained earlier.

Once you have all three items, return to Achietties at the Heroes' Guild. She will congratulate you on your accomplishments and grant you access to the Heroes' Guild. Your rewards for completing the quest include 1 Quest Point, 29,232 experience in Attack, Defence, Strength, and Hitpoints, access to the Heroes' Guild, the ability to charge amulets of glory at the fountain in the Heroes' Guild, and the ability to mine the blue dragon scale respawn inside the guild.
