"The Grand Tree" Quest Guide

Recommended Posts

To complete "The Grand Tree" quest in Old School RuneScape, you need to have level 25 Agility. It’s beneficial, though not required, to have level 33 Magic for quicker travel using the Falador Teleport spell. You will need the following items: a pestle and mortar, a log, and 1,000 coins. Start by talking to King Narnode Shareen in the Grand Tree in the Tree Gnome Stronghold. He will give you a bark sample and a translation book. Take these to Hazelmere, who is located on a small island east of Yanille. The fastest way to get there is by using a Yanille house teleport, then running southeast. Speak to Hazelmere and use the translation book to understand his message. Return to King Narnode Shareen, who will direct you to speak with Glough, the head of the Grand Tree's security. Glough can be found just south of the Grand Tree. After speaking with Glough, search his house to find a key on the floor. Use the key to unlock a chest upstairs and find some invasion plans. Show these to King Narnode Shareen, who will then imprison Glough. After this, speak to Charlie the gnome, who is located near the entrance of the Grand Tree. He will tell you about Glough’s involvement with Karamja. You need to take a glider to Karamja from the top of the Grand Tree. Once there, talk to the shipyard worker on the southeastern part of the island. He will give you a lumber order which you should bring back to King Narnode Shareen. Next, you need to navigate the Grand Tree’s agility course to reach the top floor, where you will find and fight a Black Demon. Use Magic or Ranged to safely defeat it from a distance. After defeating the demon, return to King Narnode Shareen. Finally, use the lumber order to prove Glough’s guilt, leading to his arrest and the completion of the quest. Your rewards include 5 Quest Points, 18,400 Attack experience, 7,900 Agility experience, and 2,150 Magic experience, along with access to the Grand Tree’s facilities and the gnome gliders.
